Pawning vs Buyback: What's the Difference?
Many people are familiar with pawn loans, where an item is left as collateral in exchange for a short-term loan. Pawn agreements usually have strict timelines and set interest terms based on state pawn regulations.
At our store, we offer a buyback program instead of traditional pawn loans. With a buyback, we purchase your item and give you cash on the spot. You then have the option to buy your item back later under agreed-upon terms, which may include a different time period and pricing structure than a standard pawn loan.
Just like a pawn, we safely store and take care of your item while it’s in our possession. If you choose to return within the agreed timeframe and complete the buyback, you get your item back. If the buyback is not completed within the agreed period, the item is forfeited and becomes store property.
